If you live, work, attend a school in, or visit Downtown Santa Rosa, we would love to hear from you! This project is also open to any Santa Rosa resident who would like to share their feedback. We hope you will help identify sites for future housing and spaces that have historical and cultural value to you by sharing your stories and ideas here.

  • Share your own story of history and/or culture here in Santa Rosa, specifically as it relates to the Downtown area. You can remain anonymous by providing any screen name you choose.
  • What ideas do you have for possible housing locations in the Downtown area? Post an idea or show your support for someone else's idea by upvoting it.
  • Sign the Guestbook and let your neighbors know that you've participated in this project.
  • Use the interactive map to share locations in the Downtown area that have important meaning to you or your neighborhood.
  • Ask Questions about the project directly to staff and see all answers to other questions asked about the project.

    TIME: 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

    Please join us at a public kickoff meeting for the survey project on August 18, 2021, at 6:00 PM. The meeting will take place over Zoom (see below for meeting access information).

    Staff will introduce the project, and the City’s consultant, Architectural Resources Group, will give an overview of the survey process and goals. The main intent of the meeting is to inform the public about the project and allow ample opportunity for members of the community to provide historic information related to specific properties or topics, and to ask questions about the project.
