Public Safety Town Hall Meeting with Vice Mayor Alvarez (in Spanish only)

June 1: 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. in Spanish only with Vice Mayor Eddie Alvarez in-person meeting only at Roseland University Prep (1931 Biwana Dr. #1 in Santa Rosa).

Join this informational meeting to learn more about the future of public safety funding in Santa Rosa. Voters first approved Measure O in 2004 to provide dedicated funding for public safety and violence prevention programs. For the past 17 years, these funds have been used to support fire protection, paramedics, rapid 9-1-1 emergency response, disaster preparedness, crime prevention, and police services. However, unless renewed by voters, this approximately $10 million in annual public safety funding will expire in 2025, requiring deep cuts.
