The City of Santa Rosa, as part of the General Plan Update 2050, is asking for the public's feedback on the first draft of the bike and pedestiran goals and policies included in the City's General Plan Update.

The main changes that City staff are focused on with this initial draft are:

  • Reduction of Vehicle Miles Traveled (VMT) and dependence on single occupancy vehicles (i.e., communter cars and trucks).
  • Prioritization of active transportation modes in decision and investment
  • Devolopment of CIP Multimodal Transportation Policy
  • Implementation of Vision Zero Action Plan and Implementation Plan
  • Engagement considering users from all the prioritzation modes for planning and developing facilities and services.
